Cinderella Cancels Tour

I was waiting for official word before posting and now it seems the bad news is true: Cinderella has canceled their summer tour. Singer Tom Keifer has a hemorrhaged vocal cord and therefore cannot perform. Warrant, Lynch Mob and Lynam are a part of this package.

Of course this means Cinderella is out of Rocklahoma. This is especially problematic as Cinderella signed on as the Saturday headliner.Warrant is still playing Rocklahoma and I presume the same about Lynch Mob, but I don't know about Lynam. I've got an email into Lynam's lead singer to see about getting some answers. At this point, Warrant is apparently trying to rebook shows on their own. We'll see what happens I guess.

I just heard back from Jacob Bunton and Lynam will still be at Rocklahoma, so at least that's a little good news. He also says he doesn't have any more information on the tour, but promises an update after some decisions are made.

I was supposed to see Cinderella years back and they had to cancel due to Tom's voice....This is sad news...I sure hope he is ok and heals back to a speedy recover...Best wishes to you Tom...Get well soon.

This is really sad news about Cinderella. I wish them all the best...GET WELL SOON TOM.
I've been following all of this as it happened(and even before) on Myspace. I was planning on going to one of the shows, hopefully Warrant can step in and headline, so the tour can still happen...but we'll see. There is suppost to be an official press release tommorow.

I was wondering why it was JUST Warrant playing up here in Toronto on June 23rd! dammit!

I missed seeing them so many times and they are really one of my favorites. I made the decision, for financial reasons, that we were only going to two concerts this summer (a local concert with Dee Snider/Jackyl/Ratt was the other one). I'm not really a fan of Warrant but I can deal with that if they are going to add someone else. I know the official announcement was just made but is there any talks of it continuing as is or adding someone?

i m not surprised. tom has always had problem with his voice. when they toured with poison last year, his voice was shot and they sucked .

I agree with Rob. They were REALLY bad on the Poison tour. I was really hoping that Tom was gonna be back at full strength. Damm. Hopefully they can just find a big name band to replace them on the tour. Twisted Sister or Ratt or Skid Row might work.....

You can't move Warrant up to the headlining spot at Rocklahoma. You have to go out and book a replacement headliner. I'd like to see them book Sammy Hagar as a replacement. He's available that day and he puts on a great show.

This is very upsetting to me. I think tom Keifer is the hardest working man in the business. I saw him push through with a similar problem with Poison a couple of years ago and he was great. It was tough but he gave us the show and I gained even more respect for him. I hope he recovers soon...And for everyone that says WARRANT can't be a headliner...You are wrong. They are awesome live especially now that ALL of the Down Boys are together again...

Listen, it sucks cinderella had to cancel, but I think they should add a replacement....I think they need another big name to fill those shoes...
