I say "Without Iron Maiden, life would largely be devoid of any quality modern Metal bands." Why? Because bands I love like Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot and Bullet for My Valentine all point to Iron Maiden as major influences. I listen to all three bands every single day. In fact, I do not think it would be humanly possible for me to make it through eight hours in a corporate cubicle without Slipknot. Seriously.

I agree bullet slipknot and a7x are some of my fav new bands but I hate iron maidens music haha

without Maiden,life would.....be w/out one of the best bands in the world. US wise, their numbers don't hold up but the entire rest of the world, Maiden is probably the biggest selling metal band to date.
my favorite live band is Aerosmith but hands down the BEST LIVE SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE WAS MAIDEN!

They're one of the lynchpins in my every day existance, plus I wear their t-shirts about once a week.
Maiden are HUGE in Britain, when i went to see Airbourne, about half the people at the gig wore maiden shirts.

I see a fair few maiden shirts just walking around town aswell, and I live in a very small town.
