Rikki Rockett Gets New Kit For Poison Tour
Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 12:01AM
Rikki Rockett is unveiling a new drum kit, just in time for the upcoming Poison tour this summer. More important than the drum kit is that Rikki looks great and he's 1 year cancer free. Enjoy the video below.

BTW, Bret Michaels sole often plays Cry Tough and I Want Action.
Without further adieu...
Want Some, Need Some
Let me go to the show
Back to the rocking horse
Look but you can't touch
Let it play
Come hell or high water
Cover of a Rolling Stone
Lay your body down (instead of every rose)
Livin' in the now (And cue it by telling the audience to put down their fucking camera phones)

Regarding the setlist, we're 9 days away from knowing! As much as I would also love to hear some deeper tracks (Face the Hangman, anyone?), I'm resigned to the fact it likely won't happen. Maybe one song if we're lucky.
Reasons are that 1) they're the opening band, so I'm only expecting an hour show. 2) That means we'll get 11-12 songs, including solo's if they stick to that (which they will). 3) I think Brett can't play more than an hour due to his medical situation.
I'm guessing the setlists from Bret's solo shows are going to be very close to what we'll see this summer, with the exception of "Sweet Home Alabama" and the awful "Girls on Bars". They've already said they're going to be playing the "hits", so that's a good sign right there.
I totally agree that the covers MUST go because it's such a waste to hear "Squeezebox" or "What I like about you" (or even "Mama Don't Dance") when instead we could be hearing "Love on the Rocks" or "#1 Bad Boy".
Anyway, my dream setlist would have been to open with Cat, then the Open Up album front to back, then finish with Unskinny Bop and Dirty. One can dream! Of course, the entire Cat album would be just fine as well. But I know I'm guaranteed to hear my favorite Poison song - Fallen Angel - so that is a good thing!

sidebar: if you're not a "TRUE" poison fan, you won't got it.
second sidebar: I wrote the first sidebar above, because I also got kicked off of Tom Keifer's website. The exchange went like this:
Fletch: Tom, why don't you mix it up more and play some of your deeper tracks in concert.
Some random poster: Fetch, you're not a true fan if you think that way.
Fletch: I'm just giving some advice. I mean no harm.
Posters left and right started posting, "Not a true fan, etc...
Fletch lashed out: "Fuck you and all of that mentality you cunts. You truly believe that I'm "not" a "true" fan? If you think that way...keep sucking his nut sack.
Then, I got banned. Still to this day, I am not allowed to post on his facebook page. I've been told that it's not Tom, but his manager; but I'll call bullshit when I see it.
