An Animated 'Crazy Train' And Documentary Re-Release

I was not expecting a new video for Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train," but here we are in 2020. The Prince of Darkness himself has dropped a new clip for the song and this time, it is all animated. The video is actually pretty cute. We're coming up on 40 years of Blizzard of Ozz in the US. The anniversary just passed for the UK release. Randy Rhoads forever!

Want more? There's a documentary re-release via YouTube of 30 Years After the Blizzard. Watch fast - this HD version is only available for a week via YouTube.

Yup. The Prince of Darkness now resides in the realm of cute. Another musician who I now have such misgivings about since more about how he and Sharon run the corp. has slowly leaked out.

I suppose I want to hijack this thread and instead say: RIP Lee Kerslake. Your work on those first two Ozzy (I mean, Blizzard of Ozz Band) albums was great (not to mention the work on those 70s Heep albums). The way you and Daisley were treated by Ozzy was a sad shame . . . and finally getting your gold records doesn't lessen the slight, even if you responded with grace and dignity (all the while battling the cancer that finally took you yesterday).

For those wanting a nice tribute to Kerslake, check out Living Loud, featuring both Kerslake and Daisley, not to mention Cold Chisel's Jimmy Barnes, and current Purple members Steve Morse and Don Airey:

Sure, it ain't the classic sound. But it is damn fine and a fitting tribute. Again, RIP.
