In U.S. politics news, the Biden's are getting ready to welcome a First Cat! This is very exciting to me as a cat person. I hope the First Cat is a rescue. Barn cats are total bros.

This NFT business is crazy. $500k for a meme.
The NFL Draft just happened. Yes, I watched quite a lot of it. As expected, the Jaguars took Clemson's Trever Lawrence.

And I leave you with this:

But I will say this: Gaetz is (allegedly) reaping what he (not allegedly) sowed. When you leave a slime trail of self-righteous braggadocio (I mean, is there any other kind?), don't be surprised when no one is surprised you were (allegedly) covering for gross behavior by calling out other people and their behavior. And, again, just to be clear: this has nothing whatsoever to do with his political affiliations.
This thing you call the ball of the foot, Allyson? What is it? Seriously, I wish I were a sports guy. But I am not. The closest I ever got was living in Pittsburgh in the mid-aughts. Couldn't help but get swept up in it. Ditto my early years living in or around the reigns of Plunkett and Montana. Used to have something of a passion for pugilism and early-era MMA. Now, curling on the other hand . . .
NFTs are non-fungible tokens which allow the buyer . . . I really don't care, though I really would like to have that sort of fun money in my couch cushions. Tulips, anyone? Jack Dorsey on line two!
Have a good week everyone.
Class dismissed
[And, J-Dawg Tee Weeper, I actually appreciated your post. Thanks for adding some shade and nuance to the discussion. Seriously. I mean that. Drawing lines does take a bit of a leap. But I don't think you made much of one. So, thanks again for adding something.]
When you blend boredom and the right to vote into one post (on the topic of Gaetz?), you are doing some creative deflecting/projecting and/or explaining/defending. Which is it? Either way, yuck.
Fletch, I have no idea which way the wind is blowing in your neck of the where the wild things are. Care to explain?
