Hardcore Superstar To Release New Album
My festival summer this year ended with Hardcore Superstar at Skogsröjet. As always they killed it live and they finished their show by promising they would be back next summer – with a new album. I've been excited ever since and now I’m marking the 27th of February in my calendar, the date when the album is set to be released. Right now, no title has been released.
The album is being mixed by Randy Staub, the same guy who mixed Motley Crüe’s classic Dr. Feelgood, which obviously sounds promising. It’s going to be interesting to hear what he can put into Hardcore Superstar’s music. They always deliver and all of their last albums have been great, but not one of them can really measure up to their self-titled album from 2005 (also known as their "Black" album), at least not according to me. I’m really excited to hear some new material again and this collaboration makes me even more curious.
According to the label, the first single from the album is set to be released already at the end of this month, so keep your eyes and ears open. The album will also be followed by a tour, but so far only a few dates in Sweden have been announced. Hopefully they will take the tour out in Europe and overseas as well. Personally, I can’t wait to see them again!

Love this band! I've got hard copies of all their stuff including EPs and Singles! Yet another band that proves the Swedes do L.A. Style Hair Metal better than pretty much any new L.A. band, or American band, for that matter (unless you or anyone can tell me otherwise).
Can't you round up these guys, Crash Diet, Reckless Love and some of the other Sweden based acts and get 'em to move to L.A. so we can finally Bring Back Glam! to The Strip and The States?!
cant wait....i must admit, this is my fav band outside of the US, absolutely top notch........really dug their last album........last call for alcohol was phenomenal...... HS please get your arses over here !!
"It's Only Rock and Roll" is their first album but is pretty hard to find. Check out their album, "Bad Sneakers And A Piña Colada" from 2000 as it's got a lot of the same stuff on it as their first. iTunes has it along with 6 of their albums, though, for some reason (it's always something with iTunes), not "The Black Album".
However, you can get that along with some of their import singles on Ebay. If there's one current band worth collecting, it's these guys. They are the REAL deal as they totally frickin' ROCK!
Let's hope they play The States soon!
