Buckcherry To Join Kid Rock On Arena Tour
Multi-Platinum rock band Buckcherry will join Kid Rock as special guests on the upcoming “Rebel Soul” Tour beginning February 2 in Kansas City, MO.
“’Great American Rock n’ Roll’: Kid Rock and Buckcherry. That’s all you have to say. The baddest rock n’ roll tour with the American badass himself,” says Buckcherry vocalist Josh Todd.
While on the road, Buckcherry will preview new songs from their forthcoming Confessions album, due out in early 2013. This marks the band’s sixth studio album and first U.S. release for Century Media Records. The lyrics for Confessions are tied together by the underlying theme of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Fans will get an early taste of the album when “Gluttony,” the first single from Confessions, is released as an iTunes single on December 11. Look for more information about Confessions to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Buckcherry--Josh Todd (vocals), Keith Nelson (guitar), Stevie D. (guitar), Jimmy Ashhurst (bass), Xavier Muriel (drums)--are one of the premier rock bands of the new millennium, having sold more than three million records in America alone and touring virtually non-stop, playing with everyone from AC/DC to Avenged Sevenfold, touring sold-out arenas alongside Nickelback and KISS, and headlining festivals ranging from the punk rock Ink-N-Iron (also featuring the Misfits and Pennywise) to Sturgis. Radio staples “Lit Up,” “Crazy Bitch” and “Sorry” have cemented the band as one of the most identifiable and sought-after bands on the radio and the live circuits, and Confessions is primed to take the band to even greater heights.

Always has a cool stage show as well.
His band is phenomenal as well. Top notch musicians.
One of the things I like the most about him, is he always takes a moment to say thank you for buying a ticket with your "hard earned money" and he sounds sincere.
I have seen him a total of six or seven times in the past 5 years and the shows have been either sold out or close to sold out and still pretty reasonably priced. The also had opening acts that I had heard of, not just some nameless band who isnt getting paid. Point being you get your moneys worth.
Overall I wouldn't judge him by the extremes of his music (metal-rap to Sheryl Crowe ballads) but the whole package.
As a fan of glam music and the idea of a concert as something more than just the music (ie Kiss) Kid Rock delivers.
His concerts are fun, which is one of the things I like about Glam.
It's blasphemy to me that he was one of the performers selected to pay tribute to Led Zeppelin at this year's Kennedy Honors. Still, I will tune in on December 26th to watch the rebroadcast of the event.
Though I do appreciate somewhat Kid Rock's pseudo-inventiveness, Zappa already wrote the book on that sort of thing much better. Honestly, with Kid Rock, I think his musical mish-mash, everything AND the kitchen sink approach is simply a way to disguise his actual LACK of ideas and true songwriting and singing ability.
As for Buckcherry -- they are simply one of THE greatest ROCK bands ever who have WAY more in common with Zep than Rock ever will though I don't doubt his love of the latter's music. I stand by my claim they should be credited as the ones to singlehandedly Bring Back Glam in 1999 with their hit "Lit Up".
And they're new concept album, "Confessions", sounds like it will be incredible! I for one, will be in the ready to crank it up the single, "Gluttony", the minute it debuts on December 11th!
I jest, MB. rock on! will I see you @ M3???
