Buckcherry To Join Kid Rock On Arena Tour

Multi-Platinum rock band Buckcherry will join Kid Rock as special guests on the upcoming “Rebel Soul” Tour beginning February 2 in Kansas City, MO.

“’Great American Rock n’ Roll’: Kid Rock and Buckcherry. That’s all you have to say. The baddest rock n’ roll tour with the American badass himself,” says Buckcherry vocalist Josh Todd.

While on the road, Buckcherry will preview new songs from their forthcoming Confessions album, due out in early 2013. This marks the band’s sixth studio album and first U.S. release for Century Media Records. The lyrics for Confessions are tied together by the underlying theme of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Fans will get an early taste of the album when “Gluttony,” the first single from Confessions, is released as an iTunes single on December 11. Look for more information about Confessions to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Buckcherry--Josh Todd (vocals), Keith Nelson (guitar), Stevie D. (guitar), Jimmy Ashhurst (bass), Xavier Muriel (drums)--are one of the premier rock bands of the new millennium, having sold more than three million records in America alone and touring virtually non-stop, playing with everyone from AC/DC to Avenged Sevenfold, touring sold-out arenas alongside Nickelback and KISS, and headlining festivals ranging from the punk rock Ink-N-Iron (also featuring the Misfits and Pennywise) to Sturgis. Radio staples “Lit Up,” “Crazy Bitch” and “Sorry” have cemented the band as one of the most identifiable and sought-after bands on the radio and the live circuits, and Confessions is primed to take the band to even greater heights.

May go see this if it comes in my vicinity.Buckcherry has to be one of the hardest working bands out there. Those guys seem to be on the road virtually non-stop. Gotta admire that ethic, love them or not. I personally like 'em a lot. (Any band that can do justice to Purple's "Highway Star" gets 2 thumbs up from this guy!) LOL

huge BC fan from day one, but not so sure if this is the best fit for BC. they have mentioned in interviews that the upcoming album is their hardest yet (sweet) and Kid Rock hasnt made a real rock record in quite some time......... IDK... definitely will give BC some great exposure, but i cant help but think theres a better fit out there......

I must say I was never a huge Kid Rock fan, but a few years back I went and checked him out live. It was awesome. A real fun night. He entertains in a big way. He has a pretty wide range of music (rap, ballads, country, rock, hard rock, and silly/fun type stuff (he does the Dukes of Hazzard theme sometimes, a birthday song called 40, and usually a cover song) and usually has special guests. I have seen Peter Wolf do a few songs with him, RUN DMC, Gretchen Wilson and Sheryl Crowe.

Always has a cool stage show as well.

His band is phenomenal as well. Top notch musicians.
One of the things I like the most about him, is he always takes a moment to say thank you for buying a ticket with your "hard earned money" and he sounds sincere.

I have seen him a total of six or seven times in the past 5 years and the shows have been either sold out or close to sold out and still pretty reasonably priced. The also had opening acts that I had heard of, not just some nameless band who isnt getting paid. Point being you get your moneys worth.

Overall I wouldn't judge him by the extremes of his music (metal-rap to Sheryl Crowe ballads) but the whole package.
As a fan of glam music and the idea of a concert as something more than just the music (ie Kiss) Kid Rock delivers.

His concerts are fun, which is one of the things I like about Glam.

I'm with DJ. Kid Rock is UNROCK! T, you're almost right except Kid UNROCK never made a Rockin' record.

It's blasphemy to me that he was one of the performers selected to pay tribute to Led Zeppelin at this year's Kennedy Honors. Still, I will tune in on December 26th to watch the rebroadcast of the event.

Though I do appreciate somewhat Kid Rock's pseudo-inventiveness, Zappa already wrote the book on that sort of thing much better. Honestly, with Kid Rock, I think his musical mish-mash, everything AND the kitchen sink approach is simply a way to disguise his actual LACK of ideas and true songwriting and singing ability.

As for Buckcherry -- they are simply one of THE greatest ROCK bands ever who have WAY more in common with Zep than Rock ever will though I don't doubt his love of the latter's music. I stand by my claim they should be credited as the ones to singlehandedly Bring Back Glam in 1999 with their hit "Lit Up".

And they're new concept album, "Confessions", sounds like it will be incredible! I for one, will be in the ready to crank it up the single, "Gluttony", the minute it debuts on December 11th!

I'm in and I cannot wait!!!. and, I gotta disagree with metalboy. kid rock is the real deal. he didn't throw in everything including the kitchen sink. He included them into his repetoire until he carved out his path to find himself. He rocks truly and fully. And, if any elaboration or explanation is needed, please let us know

No further explanation necessary, Fletch, except that he s*cks! p.s. I did rather enjoy his midget period, though and I love the story about how all of that came about.
