Is Cinderella Over?

So Eric Brittingham just did a podcast interview. He basically said he thinks Cinderella is done because he doesn't believe Tom Keifer is coming back to the band. Doesn't look good - this news makes me sad. I didn't realize it's been four years since Cinderella has played live together. Unreal.

ERIC BRITTINGHAM: I Don't Think TOM KEIFER Is Coming Back To CINDERELLA http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/eric-brittingham-i-dont-think-tom-keifer-is-coming-back-to-cinderella/

Actually, their last concert was April 1, 2014.

Looks like Keifer thought he was "Nobody's Fool" on April Fool's Day.

However, I STILL believe he's better with Cinderella than without.

Cross another one off your list of...

The Greatest Glam Metal Bands of All Time

1) Motlëy Crüe
2) RATT
3) Cinderella
4) Poison

Our only hope is Poison!

I heard they might be touring this Summer...

that sucks, ive seen them a few times live and they were great all but one time as tom was having his voice problems then but band was still awesome.

Well that certainly blows.

He pretty much got his voice back after you saw him and it's still going strong, Glamrockerarchie. I was fortunate enough to see those last two shows and they kicked a*s royale. The whole boat was ROCKIN', literally!

Well, lets be honest, its because Tom doesnt NEED Cinderella at this point. Hes released a very good solo record, and hes playing venues on the same scale as Cinderella on his own. He wrote at the big hit songs in Cinderella too.

Exactly Kenny. The Way Life Goes is a pretty solid album. I can hear several songs on there being Cinderella influenced. Saw him last year and he and his band blew the roof off the joint. He still has the chops and his guitar playing is on point. Bottom line, while sad that they may never play together again, you should not blame Tom. He's done quite well for himself. If you haven't picked up his latest CD, do yourself a favor and go get it.

So to follow up on Metalboy ... what is the status of Poison??? Bret's been doing his own thing, and seems to be pretty happy with how that's going. Rikki, CC and Bobbi did a gig or two as "the special guests", but that's going nowhere. At least Rikki appears to wants to do something based on social media reports, but CC and Bobbi are totally MIA. Anybody know what they're doing these days? There must still be a market out there for a Poison tour with some great glam support? Just play the "Look what the cat dragged in" and "open up and say Ahh" albums back to back, and finish with some encores from flesh & blood. And have a reunited White Lion open up. Oh shoot, woke up from my dream!

If Poison doesn't get out there and none of us hit the Powerball to pay all our heroes exorbitant amounts of $$$ to reunite for the 1st Annual Bring Back Glam! Festival, you are about to witness the final death throes of The REAL Big Four -- Motlëy Crüe, RATT, Cinderella & Poison.

I keep playing powerball, but since I'm fairly good at math, I just don't understand why I haven't won.
Sucks about all these bands that may simply be done.

It's really sad if Cinderella is done, but I think Tom can have great success as a solo act too...I'm hoping to go see him in August, and I've heard he still sounds great. I'd imagine he plays tons of Cinderella stuff live too.

DJ: This is Tom's typical setlist these days. He also throws in some rare gems now and then such as "one for rock and roll" and "sick for the cure". I love seeing him solo and I already have tickets to (4) four upcoming shows, including M3. I don't think there is bad blood between the members, because his show in Philly on 4/28 has Mach 22 as the opener (Sebastian Labar's band).

1.Fallin' Apart at the Seams
(Cinderella song)
2. It's Not Enough
3. A Different Light
4. Somebody Save Me
(Cinderella song)
5. Shake Me
(Cinderella song)
6. Heartbreak Station
(Cinderella song)
7. The Flower Song
8. Ask Me Yesterday
9. Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)
(Cinderella song)
10. Nobody's Fool
(Cinderella song)
11. Solid Ground
12. Night Songs
(Cinderella song)
13. Coming Home
(Cinderella song)
14. Shelter Me
(Cinderella song)
15. It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It)
(The Rolling Stones cover)
16. With a Little Help From My Friends
(The Beatles cover)
17. Gypsy Road
(Cinderella song)

As Kenny points out, he simply doesn't need "Cinderella" to carry on. Tom 'is" Cinderella. He wrote every song with the exception of two (2) songs which were co-written by him and Eric. Also, Jeff and Fred joined the band after Tom was signed to Mercury records.

Tom is doing his thing and I am sure would and does support the projects that the other guys are doing. Jeff put out a solo EP last year, One for the road", which I love. It has a morose and sometimes angry mood, but it also captivates an introspective and honest feel. I wish that Tom would get Jeff to open some of his shows, too.

Killer setlist. So what is really sad ( or maybe good and I just need to deal with it) is that you can still hear the hits if bands 2, 3 and 4, just not by the "original" line-up. I used to say that about the next level of glam bands (LA Guns, Faster Pussycat, Skid Row, etc.) so sorry to hi-jack the thread a second time, but which of our glam bands are still out there with all original members? Trixter???

I wonder how MB would feel and "deal with it" if I logged on every morning and wrote, "Tom needs to suck it up and get back with eric and co."

MB: suck it up and get back to krista, ann, treatment trends, confront, affinity, and vickie too.

Tom: keep it going. trixter will be there, too...just like they were at DLR at the chance bar in upstate new York.

the priscilla harriet band or the saints in hell line up would be...oh so great.
