Nikki Sixx Teases Big Motley Crue Surprise
Motley Crue will release four new songs as part of The Dirt movie package (eventually, no word when we'll hear those tracks). Now Nikki Sixx is teasing a big surprise.
Most people immediately assume a tour. I'm not in that camp. Will the band perform together again live to promote The Dirt? Yes, of course. That will probably happen at some venue in Los Angeles and on a late night show or Saturday Night Live or something. But what could be so big we'll all think the Crue is "out of their minds?" A Super Bowl halftime appearance? Doubtful. A short-run reality TV series? Maybe. Go ahead and put your guesses in the comments.
Fück can I just say it? I’m listening to the roughs of the new @MotleyCrue and it feels real and raw.Everybody is playing like mad and the songs crush. Bob Rock brought the sounds. Plus we have a surprise that will confirm that we’re outta our minds.

"But what could be so big we'll all think the Crue is "out of their minds?"
If you've seen em lately, the answer is clearly Vince. He may be pregnant with triplets or possibly even ate a large moose, that may not have been fully digested in his stomach, just yet.

If you've seen him lately, you will clearly know that the answer is of course, Vince Neil. He is either 8 months pregnant with triplets, or he ate a large gazelle that his stomach still hasn't had time to digest just yet.
Vince is going to stop hitting women?
Vince is going to stop driving drunk?
Vince is actually going to remain on stage for an entire Vince Neil Band performance?
Vince is going to stop treating his fans like garbage?
Vince is going to live a healthy and responsible lifestyle?
ANY of these would “blow my mind”
Vince is an ass.
i’d heard bad things about vince, but he was pretty cool to the dozen of us waiting after a recent solo band show. he signed stuff and posed for photos - for free. of course, dana strum was holding him up the whole time.
I still say they are going to tour again. The lure of the almighty dollar will be too big, Plus they will want to generate interest in the train wreck of a movie that is going to eventually come out.
Man, has that dude no shame? I, for one, would not want to be exposed to the media in his current condition. Vince, take cue from Elvis who lost like 80 lbs before his ‘67 Comeback taping. Only make sure you keep it off unlike him.
A big surprise would be releasing a complete album and then doing a huge world tour to support it.
Of course, an even bigger surprise than that would be to forget the Vince makeover (wait, didn’t he already get that once) and get Corabi back for a whole album and tour. Now THAT would be a big surprise!!!
As others noted as well (or at least implied amongst the mirth), Neil needs to seriously take stock of what he is doing and where he is going. And I think his peers and friends should do the same. What is the point of inviting him on stage with you? I know, I know. Good times and fun tunes. But it also sends out a message of a different sort: let Neil alone. He's fine. No. No, he is not. That is as clear to see to anyone inside or outside of his widening circle (yes, that is a joke . . . more to come).
What's the point of teasing big surprises if one of the main reasons for your success is living a life that might not keep him around to be a part of it? Well, for Sixx, it is moving merch and drumming up interest. But if we are going to try to hold (up) Pearcy to a higher standard and avoid the Neil in the room (which is getting harder to do), then it is a double standard (with extra pickles, hold the lettuce). Might as well have some fun while being serious.
And well put, HIM, though Neil’s problem is no laughing matter, it’s hard not to, when you see him barreling across the stage.
Get help, Vince, now!!!
