Ridiculous Music News Of The Week

The Associated Press referred to Robert Durst as "The former Limp Bizkit frontman." I don't even know how this sort of journalistic mistake happens. Fred Durst fronted the Bizkit of course. In case you didn't know, multimillionaire Robert Durst was just arrested on murder charges for the 2000 death of his friend Susan Berman.
I mean, I'm no Limp Bizkit fan. But seriously. Did NO ONE at the AP think to just Google either the Robert Durst or the Limp Bizkit Wikipedia page in a half-assed attempt at cross-checking? Good grief.
AP correction: Accused murderer Robert Durst is *not* a former member of the band Limp Bizkit. http://t.co/ofXmLVPFSz

Now the press is rivaling Congress in their lack of fact checking, fully researching content of legislation and overall integrity.
You didn't think I was going to let you have ALL the fun!
