Metallica Share Remastered Live Performance Of 'Wherever I May Roam'

Metallica will release a remaster of their iconic "black" album on September 10. A box-set version will include rarities, including a remastered live performance of "Wherever I May Roam," recorded live in California on October 12, 1991. You can pre-order the remastered Metallica now.

Also, this is just freaking cool:

I finally saw Metallica several years ago and it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen … That said, I dislike this album, which probably has more to do with it being overplayed on FM radio and MTV, rather than it’s actual content, though for me, it will always seem a tad boring.

i used to think i had to like metallica. now i realize it’s ok to just like bits and pieces of the band’s catalog. this is not one of those pieces i enjoy, so i’ll skip this version. besides, each of these remastered box sets (from any band) sounds great until you shell out for it, listen to the bonus stuff once, and put it on the shelf to collect dust for years. but more power to thise who need another random live set from these guys.

I couldn't be more bored. Better to double up on the Xanax. Big Pharma rules.
