Monday Meltdown

Oh boy, this isn't good kids. Vince Neil did a solo show in Columbus, Ohio a few days ago. The performance below is of "Wild Side" and I am not exaggerating when I say that Eric watched this over my shoulder with his mouth hanging open, then he howled with laughter. Is it possible that Vince is getting worse live? I swear videos of him from around Thanksgiving had him looking fitter and sounding better. What happened? The Stadium Tour is just a few months away... and there are a lot of shows on that run. Oh man.

I agree he sounds terrible, he must pay his band really well to go out there night after night and play their best while he doesn't put same effort into it.

I will defer to these comments, save to state: I mentioned many, many months ago why I wouldn't mock Neil anymore. And I stand by those observations.

When it gets to the point that you are playing games with your band/employer, your fans, your family, and your own life (with the order going from last to first), you ain't playing anymore. And you can only play for so long. Sad thing is, people are gonna let him play until he can't. Far better that we turned away.

Fire (even false flame) needs air. This sorta' stuff just fans the same. And we know the damage it does. Music to crash your car to? Yup. Not saying Neil is solely to blame. Just saying a lot of others are too.
