Happy Rocktober!

It's October: the air is getting cooler, the leaves are changing...and it's time for Halloween! October is easily the most Metal month of the year...and the best time to listen to Helloween.

The German Metal act has been around since our beloved 80s, regularly cranking out pretty heavy tunes. There have been a lot of member changes, but that hasn't stopped the albums...and another one is supposedly coming out soon. A page on Vh1.com says the new Helloween is out November 24...and Amazon agrees. Apparently there's no set title or really clear info about the album just yet, but I'll keep you posted.

For now, one of my fave Helloween songs: "Kids of the Century." While I'm excited for Halloween and the new Helloween, I am *not* pleased about the cold weather - heat bills suck!

I saw Helloween open up for Iron Maiden back in ´88. Great gig!
They lost it though when Michael Kiske left the band.
