Heaven's Edge

Holy Glam! I am totally writing up a review of the Adam Lambert (ok, American Idol) concert, but good grief I had to post this clip of Heaven's Edge!

Does anyone remember these guys? "Skin to Skin" is a great song - obscure, though. The band formed in the late 80s and released two albums in the early nineties. One look at that time frame explains why this band didn't get huge. I'm not sure Heaven's Edge is really "Glam" per se (mainly because of Mark Evans' vocal tone). I guess I'd call them "melodic" but no matter: I quite enjoy them! Who here saw Heaven's Edge live back in the day?

Happy Labor Day my fellow Americans! Enjoy your holiday.

Just a solid good rock and roll song here. It should have been more popular, and probably would have been if it had gotten any rotation on the radio and MTV.

Great band, and this is a killer album, which I coincidentally just listened to over the weekend on a small road trip.

I pull this tape (haven't found the CD for a decent price yet) out at least once a year since it was released, and haven't gotten tired of it yet.

Their comeback disc from '98 is pretty good also, too bad they never really did anything more.

You're old buddy Jr. saw them. Killer band, killer live, and killer CD. Listen to it all the time over the years and on my IPOD.

I am proud to say that I was in the crowd at when they shot this video. It was at the Trocodero in Philly around 1989 or 90. They did about 4 takes lypsynching so they could get the timing for the track right. Then played the actual song live.

It was a really cool experience.

This was a great band and unfortunately were coming into the music scene at the same time as grunge.

Yeah, these guys were awesome! they did come just a little too late to the party though. I was living in central Jersey at the time, and I remember WMMR in Philly playing their stuff pretty regularly so I guess I just thought people in the rest of the country knew about them too.
