A Huge Glam Fest is Coming!

People, there's another huge fest coming. Rock in America is planned for July 23-25 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The venue is the Zoo Amphitheater. (I've never been to Oklahoma city, so I don't know anything about this venue).

I've seen the full band list - and no I can't tell you who is playing. Let's just say it's big. Real big. Actually, I can tell you one band because they've already got it on their website. Twisted Sister has confirmed their place at the new event. Twisted has their slot listed as Friday, July 23rd. The promoters hope to announce this very soon - obviously - because time is ticking. And trust me, you're going to be interested.

The Zoo Amp is my favorite place for outdoor concerts. As for camping I don't know how or where that will work. But in any event I always have the best time there.

So aren't there now at least 3 festivals of the same genre that same weekend in the midwest? Aren't they gonna kill each other off, or are they just hoping for local fans? I guess the bands can just go from one to the other.
