In Which Tom Keifer Releases New Music
Holy Glam! Out of the blue, Tom Keifer just released new music! Tom released two songs, "Solid Ground" and "The Flower Song" via his website and also his new Facebook page.
There weren't any YouTube clips of the song yet, so you'll have to go to Tom's website to listen. basically both songs sound like Heartbreak Station-era Cinderella. There's also a bit of a country twang as well (just a little, not too much).
It's interesting that Tom decided to release a couple solo songs instead of working on something with Cinderella, but I'm just happy for the new music. Maybe a solo album will actually see the light of day. It's been promised to us for years now. A couple months ago, Tom officially announced his solo record would be released (but I remain skeptical). Here's that press release from back in August:
August 20, 2012 -- Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Tom Keifer is finally releasing his long-awaited and highly anticipated solo album in the Spring of 2013 after entering into a partnership with Merovee Records (a joint venture with Worldwide Pants, Inc.). The as-yet-untitled collection of 14 new songs ranges from intimate, organic, acoustic tracks to driving hard rock. It embraces the blues, rock and country roots that have always been present in his unique sound that has generated the sale of over 15 million records worldwide.
The upcoming release is a raw, introspective look at the roller coaster ride that has been Keifer's life for the past 15 years. From being told that he would never sing again as a result of a partially paralyzed left vocal cord, to the emotional and personal battles that followed, his solo debut is a story of perseverance, a testament to the power of passion and will, when combined with a true love of music.
Cinderella will play the Monsters of Rock Cruise March 2013.

And this is why it is not wise to elect a Republican as they tend to vote in people with idealogical convictions as opposed to moral ones. Let's keep the country a little more Rock and Roll and a little less Square, shall we?
"I'm the Electric Eye".
You know d*mn well what kind of Racism I'm talking about. And the best man WILL win despite all the chickensh*t lies and veiled Racism so much of your party espouses in a desperate, slash and burn attempt to win!
It will be a pleasure when the cooler guy is the one handing Led Zeppelin their KENNEDY Honors, not that frickin' Mitt Phoney.
You, actually, sir, are on record making it clear that your vote is racially motivated. You still need to apologize to Allyson for saying what you did.
But no matter. THE Best Man WILL prevail and you will see, in fact, he's had us on the correct track all along. And we will protect your right to free speech along with the other rights that would otherwise be called into scrutiny with Wrongney in place. Why on earth you would vote for that liar and against your own personal protections is beyond me.
But never fear, we're looking out for you.
p.s. Don't forget your Mitt Phoney frickin' dodged the draft twice and the actually had the audacity to Protest IN FAVOR of the Vietnam War! Do you really think our President would have done that? No. He probably would have enlisted -- not even been drafted.
Or, because he's smart and can frickin' catch flies with his bare hands, would have been a civilian over in Saigon doin' sh*t to protect our country in ways neither of us even know about, not even you. Remember, he was too old to go to war in The Gulf.
But he was fighting another war -- In Chicago, trying to improve the quality of life and education for people who otherwise never would have had a chance.
Huh-uh-lo-oh!
Why on earth would you vote for Wrongney? -- Someone who has none of your best interest in mind. You are a pawn of the Carlisle Group and their investments in companies like KBR and Halliburton.
Tell me, Dude, do YOU really want to send more boys over to the Middle East -- this time, Iran, to make them eligible for the contest to wind up in a body bag? Because, if that's what you want to do, go ahead and VOTE for Wrongney.
I would think you would want to see war end after what you personally went through over there. And as far as being a cop -- Do you want to see The Policemen's Union done away with? -- Because that's EXACTLY what Wrongney wants to do!
Look, I appreciate your valor for our country both overseas and on the streets of New York (where I lived for 13 years) but if it was the second Gulf War you fought chances are you never needed to go over there to begin with.
Obama will make sure your kids won't have to fight unecessarily this time.
And for that, HE is COOL!
