Did you watch the Motley Crue/KISS tour announcement press conference? It's pretty epic... on many levels. I cackled quite a few times, for different reasons. I'll let you form your own opinions. Watch.

Live Nation had a sale for General Admission to Alpine Valley (The Lawn Seats). Picked up 10 tickets for $20 each. Not going to complain at all :) I've been up close and personal to both, now I'm just going to join the general population and listen to the sounds in the cool Wisconsin night.

For those folks who are saying that this tour is a 'cash grab', what tour isn't a cash grab? Every tour is a cash grab. Artists make money these days by touring, not by selling albums (unless you're Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Katy Perry, or some other cookie-cutter pop artist).

I've seen this version of KISS twice; they're really good. Is it weird seeing Tommy and Eric wearing Peter's and Ace's make-up? I suppose to many people it is.

Motley said that they are close to hanging it up and never touring again, so if you need to get a Crue show off your bucket list, now is the time.
