Michael Schenker will release Bridge The Gap in the UK on December 2nd. One of the album tracks is "Where The Wild Winds Blow" and you can hear that song now below. Basically, it rules. But of course it does. This is, after all, Michael Schenker.

Micheal's a phenomenal player.
There was time where, if you wanted to be taken seriously as a guitarist, you'd better know how to play a couple of Schenker licks. I can still play "Shoot Shoot", "Only You Can Rock Me", "Doctor Doctor" & "Lights Out" in my sleep.

In the pre-Rhoads & Van Halen guitar world, Micheal was the player to beat. Speed, style, tastefulness, & tone... He had it all.

Ace! Schenker STILL has it all and ranks right up there. Amazing he survived what he did to himself -- actually, not only survived, but can still crank it out as good or better than anyone around (true, Ace, if Rhoads was still alive, it would be a different story). And, if you've seen him live or on That Metal Show, he seems totally happy, at peace with the world, and himself.

He even gave one of his trademark Flying V's to Eddie Chump, who I have a Love/Hate thing goin' on with, because of Chump's undying obsession with UFO primarily because of Schenker landmark time with them.

I didn't mean to imply Micheal had lost any of his musical brilliance! (a few brain cells, yes...) He's still got it all & still a 6 string force to be reckoned with. He was a huge factor in my favoring Flying V's for a long time. His solos have a sense of melody that very few others have mastered.
