Brian, I live in NY, we have every religion imaginable. I'm catholic, I have people handing me their religions pamphlets all the time. I don't start telling them I'm catholic STOP!!!! How would anyone even know you don't believe in god? Seems your so proud of it you bring it on yourself! Dude, relax enjoy your life as a non believer, as I do as a believer! To each is their own. I'm not brainwashed and I don't brainwash my children. I get comfort attending mass and I hope my children do to. When they grow up and decide for themselves that's their decisions. Just be a good person and all will be taken care of.

Let me start by saying I don't want to argue with you anymore. I am being a 100% sincere with no animosity.

I have nothing to be proud of or not proud of when it comes to this topic. I don't believe or disbelieve anything when it comes to this topic. I don't know how to explain this without offending you...but it means nothing to me. Never has, never will. To me it's just something that some people believe or disbelieve. I only think in terms of matter of fact. With books I have over a 100 books but no fiction. They are all biographies or autobiographies. I have around 500 DVD's but no fictional movies. I have music, sports, true crime and documentary DVD's stuff like that. My use of the word fiction here is not to slam the bible but to describe my personal tastes in the things I use to entertain myself. I have no imagination so it's very hard for me to even entertain the thought of god. It's just not in my realm of thought.

I don't bring it upon myself. It's not something I ever think of until people bring it up. When I repeatedly get stopped on the street, they ask me a question and I tell them the truth. Even if it's just someone in passing, I would feel really bad about lying to people. I can't stand it when people lie so I don't do it to other people. That's just the way my mother raised me.
