Totally Awesome: Jake E. Lee Live Again

Jake E. Lee is (finally) back and performing live again with his new band the Red Dragon Cartel. The band will be releasing an album via Frontiers soon... but in the meantime they are playing some live gigs. The other night, the band did an assortment of tunes from Jake's other bands and, awesomely, the Badlands track "High Wire" made the cut!

I'm gonna see if I can corner Corabi on The Monsters of Rock Cruise to see if he'd be willing to approach Lee for the job.

Hell, that's what DuBrow did with Quiet Riot way back when.

And the subsequent RDC show, in San Diego, was a bit better it seems. But still . . . Lee deserves more.

I will give the singer credit for publicly taking the lashing and owning up to the mistake, not hiding behind the band or Lee. In this day and age, that takes guts.
