Twister Sister Teases Farewell Dates

I'll keep an eye on this, but it looks like Twister Sister is getting ready to release their farewell tour dates. Kind of bittersweet, right?

This is bittersweet. If a full tour is announced I'd love to go see them. It would be amazing to see this band....

They should do a double bill with Kiss so Dee could kick Paul Stanley's pansy ass.... Lol

Made me laugh, Gary. Paul's jazz hands are no match for the bluster of Dee!

But you are right, Dj. Hope to catch this.

Opening for KISS would be the only way Twisted Sister could play for an audience of a thousand+ people, these days. Paul & Gene wouldn't do them that kind of favor.

Especially after Snyder so stoopidly busts on Stanley!

Ace, you forgot festival gigs. They gained a lot of eye-holes doing those sorts of fly-in dates. I assume that was largely the doing of French who, again, seems to have a good eye for the business side of the b[r]and even if others (rightly and wrongly) question his judgment sometimes.

Personally, I think that Snider and Stanley are worlds apart in terms of tone and style (as singers and as interlocutors). But they both came off badly in their verbal/textual slap fight. Snider seems like he is swatting at imaginary perpetrators of CAM (Crimes Against Metal). Stanley, on the other hand, seems to speak in contradictions:striking a pose of effete high-mindedness while engaging in the same snarky taunts that he criticizes Snider for instigating. Poor form on both their parts, and part of some sort of mini-trend as the legends we used to view as idols grow old, crotchety, and catty.
