Lady Gaga Was Amazing During Super Bowl 51

Lady Gaga performed during the Super Bowl 51 half time show last night. She did a medley of her greatest hits, soared through the air and dropped the mic in diva fashion - a true rocking performance! If you somehow didn't get to see it live, the video is below. Also, the New England Patriots can bite me.

She was amazing, indeed! I wish that I had 1/1000 of her talent (and I'm being overly generous to myself).

It was okay. Maybe one day we will get an actual rock band. My vote would be the Foos

I thought she did great. Her opening was fantastic. I may get some (more) of her stuff.

Faster than a speeding Rock star! More powerful than any other pop diva! Able to leap tall stadiums in a single bound!...

The ONE! The ONLY! Lady GaGa!!!!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE and over the top! Talent to burn AND then some! Her performance had it all... She even trotted out the Glamster 80's style guitars toward the end, punctuated by her dropping the mic AND then catching a pass as she leapt from her perch at the conclusion of her performance.

I was never a Lady Gaga fan until a couple months ago, but if anybody is interested in her music.
I would start w/her latest album 'Joanne' it's pretty much like a pop/rock album.
Get the ''Deluxe' w/extra tracks, if you do.

is an excellent album!

Here is a clip on Howard Stern on how she came to record it and what the songs represent. Here is million reasons:

Also, here is Lady Gaga spreading the love:

And, here is an interesting fact, she bought Frank Zappa's House and uses it and his infamous basement as her recording studio.

Wow, a lot of pop music fans here. I thought it was boring. The party I was at muted it and played the new Kreator cd. That's what real men do though.

Really, BK? Funny, at the Super Bowl party I attended, the REAL MEN were totally into it AND checking out GaGa & REAL WOMEN, who were also in attendance, were dancing and going crazy over her.

Be sure to tune into The Grammys on Sunday night to see GaGa, a lifelong Metal fan, dueting with Metallica!

As long as she doesn't sing her junk, I'm good. Pop music blows imo, but that's just me I guess. Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, BeyoncΓ©, all that junk is absolutely horrible but I guess some ppl just need softer, easier listening, pretty music.

Another rare instance of Bkallday and me agreeing (not that I mind). It looked odd to me, like she didn't know how to work the wires and was just flailing about, like a novice member of Cirque du Soleil who got a T-shirt cannon full of Elton John's cast-offs shot at her. And I have seen her doing quite captivating moves to her Madonna and non-Material Girl knock-off songs.

We also know--and this isn't a knock--that she didn't do the long shot descent from the top of the stadium (pre-recorded work atop the place, body double live, on account of the weather). Which, again, isn't a knock. Pretty fluid mix of pre-shot and live images.

I guess I expected something more. Compared to Prince and his Purple 'Thang, this didn't seem as inspired. Better than some? Oh, sure. But that strikes me as a bar Gaga could have easily passed.

Just to clarify . . . I agree with (most of) Bkallday's first post. My post was being written when his second one appeared.
