Hurricane Irma Playlist
For the last week, we've watched as Hurricane Irma blasted Caribbean island after island, leaving utter destruction in her path. Today, she's slamming Florida.
Hurricanes fascinate me. I say that as a landlocked Ohioan who has never experienced a hurricane first hand. When I say fascinate, I mean I'm intrigued by the forecasting process, the satellite views, the different models: all of it. I'm always horrified to see the destruction left behind. So many people have their lives altered by hurricanes and it is heartbreaking to see. Texans are still reeling from Hurricane Harvey and the extreme flooding and now Irma is making a mess in the Sunshine State. So, that said we need a little levity. For many, including myself, music can really help get through bad times. It also makes the good times better! Without further adieu, here's a hurricane playlist - we're all in this together. And please add your suggestions to the comments!
