Europe Release Album Trailer

It's here! Europe has released the first trailer for their upcoming album called Walk the Earth. The album will be available for purchased on October 20. Say what you will about Europe but they haven't shied away from making new music. In fact, they've been pretty consistent, releasing a new album every two or three years since 2004. They are still on my list of "must see live" bands.

Europe have somehow evaded me in a live setting for 30 years. I am definitely going to have to make a roadtrip to see them. Hopefully they will be coming to the U.S. in support of the new album. The Final Countdown and Out of the Blue are perfect 80's records. There are tons of great records from the 80's but they did it better than most. Melodic with great production, great vocalist, great solos, distinct synth/keyboard without being overly used. I surely have tired of the song Final Countdown but the rest still sounds fresh. Scream of Anger had some great songs as did Prisoners of Paradise but they weren't the total package that the TFC and OotB are. Two great guitar records with two amazing guitarists. Truly melodic guitar solos on those albums.

Sorry. The album Wings of Tomorrow had some great songs including Scream of Anger.

Europe just keep getting better and better with every new CD. ...a few songs worth checking out.
