"Saved By Zero"

Today's choice of one of my favorite random tracks is "Saved By Zero" as performed by The Fixx. Maybe you know the song from the recent Fidelity commercials? It's a great slice of early 80s synth-pop. Sometimes I listen to this song while stretching before or after a workout.

Ah, middle school memories ...

Red Skies is my favorite song by The Fixx. Maybe it's something about catchy pop songs about nuclear holocaust that entices me. And surprisingly, unfortunately still relevant almost 40 years later ...

Hands down, my favorite 80s synth-pop song is On The Loose by Saga. Always loved that song, but I don't think I ever heard anything else by that band until I picked up a used vinyl copy of Worlds Apart not too long ago. I was surprised at how good it is.
