Fan Rooms?
Seeing the cool KISS collection below made me wonder how many of you have rooms like this dedicated to your favorite band? I have a tub of Aerosmith items that I gathered when I was younger but I do not collect anything anymore. I am too cheap and then I just worry about having a place to store things. I am a minimalist who does not like clutter.
I always admire rooms and collections like the one below but I think having a room like that in my own home would make me nervous. So much to dust but what a conversation piece! So tell me - who has a collection that can rival the one below?
#CollectingKISS! Thanks to Joe Rich for sharing part of his amazing #KISS collection with us! #KISSARMYROCKS!

Bought some officially liscenced tiles depicting all of their 70s album covers, which we had dispersed throughout the shower tiles when we had it re-done a few years back.
You guys are killin’ me!
Unfortunately, I sold all my stuff ...
But just last year, I could have had probably at least a dozen entirely different fan rooms with all the large official record company promo posters, memorabilia, LPs, 45’s and collector edition CDs I once owned ...
Here’s how the rooms would have been divided up:
1) Led Zeppelin
2) Cheap Trick
3) Motlëy Crüe
4) Guns N’ Roses
5) Rolling Stones
6) Beatles
7) Plasmatics
8) Blondie
... and also by genre ... I could have had many rooms by genre ...
1) Classic Rock
2) Heavy Metal
3) Glam Metal
4) Punk
5) Glam Rock
6) Southern Rock
7) Jazz
It was heartbreaking to unload it all, but at the same time, very freeing ... Besides, in case I hit the lottery, I photographed all of it to buy 99.999% of it back (the other fraction of a % would just simply be too rare to track down), if I so chose to!
Gary, I often pump iron in my closet. So your L.A. Box has every right to exist! I say that, partially, because I don't want to start a family feud.
GNR, does anyone ever yell out to you: "Is it your body or your brain?" I know. Too much, too much, too much.
