Does This Mean Poor Ozzy Has To Tour Again?

I have not been following this story very closely, but apparently Sharon Osbourne is off The Talk. CBS canned her over racist comments. There have been allegations like this surrounding Sharon for years. Holly Robinson Peete said Sharon was racist toward her all the way back on season 1 of The Talk. Apparently Julie Chen alleged the same thing.

I do not think I have ever watched The Talk ever. I work during the day and I am not into these types of shows anyway. But I do wonder if Sharon's sudden loss of income will mean poor Ozzy being trotted out on the road again? For the sake of his health, I hope not.

Though I have never seen OZZY live, and would love to (I had tickets to the Cincy show that was canceled a few years ago), I agree with you 100%. He should not be out on the road anymore given his health. But I wouldn't be surprised if he does, and if I'm around, I'll go see him.

Putting aside my feelings about either one of them, I highly doubt they are in desperate need of cash. The Ozzy brand, while not as prolific as, say, KISS, is alive and well.

Ozzy on the other hand? Again, in spite of my feeling for him nowadays, he is a far diminished shell of his former self. Given the life he has led, that is no surprise. I suspect that he put his health at risk every time he attempts to launch a tour, no less every time he sets foot on stage. If he is doing that because he 'loves it', then good on him.

Steverox, I bet you will enjoy yourself if you get the chance. The nostalgia factor is hard to avoid. Speaking of which, I wish the classic four Sabs would get back in the studio for one last album. I have seen them and Ozzy on several occasions. I don't need to see them again. But I wouldn't mind hearing something inspired, as I was one of the people who enjoyed _13_ but mourned the absence of Ward (even if he now says he wouldn't be able to handle the rigors of a tour . . . which internet jockeys are misapplying to what he was capable of when Sab announced their final tour; ten years makes a lot of difference when you are getting to their ages).
