'Match The Mugshot With The AC/DC Fan' - This Is A Thing

I saw this by accident while doing my morning doom scroll. Apparently this is a thing that The Smoking Gun does... matching mugshots with alleged crimes. This week's feature just happens to be all about AC/DC fans. Notice the concert shirts in those mug shots, people!

As the current collapse of civilization continues and feels like it is speeding up a little every day, apparently guessing what our neighbors are arrested for is now an Internet sport. Or something. This was just too odd so I had to share. TGIF I guess.

Well, there's 15 seconds of my life I'll never get back. I got 3 out of 5, btw.

Smoking Gun has been doing this for awhile now. I always used to enjoy some of their stories where they would actually put in the journalism time and get court documents on what actually did or is going to happen. Unlike the current collapse of the journalistic landscape of ass kissing the left or puckering up to the right. As Sgt Friday used to say - "Just the facts, ma'am"

Really? Is liking _Flick of the Switch_ a crime now?!?!? I kid. And kudos to you, EddieLH, for taking the test. That is more than 50%. And the teacher might grade you on a curve.

Like you, GNR, I used to read TSG quite a bit. I guess we just, what's the phrase, grew apart. I also hear you about kowtowing to ideological tranches (my words, not yours), often in a craven bid to get the eyeballs you need and thus the money you require. So I try to read across the spectrum, often in print though also online. And I also enjoy actual journalism of the sort that you can find at places like Skeptoid and Damn Interesting. Almost always engaging, as the former deals in current controversies (most often), while the latter dives into interesting facts lost to time.

We now have the entire history of the world at our fingertips. And yet, here we stand, or sit, or stoop. Sigh. I am reminded of a repeated refrain from a monster song by the Cult of Blue Oysters, no less the phrase from that other most metal of persons, George Santayana.

Thankfully, we are just a brief speck on the window of the universe. Enjoy the ride,
