Krokus, Vixen...at Rocklahoma

Ok, so apparently ten seconds after I called the Rock Fever offices yesterday, a radio DJ (for KMOD) announced that Krokus would be playing Rocklahoma 2008. An erstwhile tipster also pointed out that Vixen is listed on Pollstar as playing the Rocklahoma Festival in 2008. Looks like these are your first two bands, kids.

Krokus is a solid add to the show, unfortunately only Marc Storace remains from the classic lineup.

apprently gypsy pistoleros and dirty penny are there again. gypsy pistoleros put out a myspace bulletin. they also put out one saying about a UK tour with them dirty penny, and sex department. anyway you could find out if this is true allyson?

Yeah, Gypsy Pistoleros are returning to Rocklahoma 2008. I posted that a long time ago. They were asked back during this summer's festival. Steelheart was also invited back.

Krokus == awesome. not as good as Kix,but my second favourite 'K' band...

As much as I would love to go, it's simply not in my budget. I prefer smaller shows - 2 or 3 bands - anyway. But it would be cool if they could bring out some of the newer bands like Endeverafter, Crashdiet, or Airbourne.

Why don't they have a show like this closer to Cincinnati?

Yes, Krokus is not the best K band out there. Hopefully that will happend when Rocklahoma announces KIX to the lineup for 08. They will blow everyone away with their high energy live show. Steve Whiteman is the best front man I have ever seen. Even now he runs around like a mad man just like he did 25 years ago! Does anyone have any news if KIX is going to be added? They announce for the first time in over 12 years they are going out and doing a limited national tour this spring and summer, so that leads me to believe on of the stops will be Pryor Ok, for ROCKLAHOMA 08!!!!

kix is rumored by the global moderator for rocklahoma's forum and he usually is correct. i also heard that krokus would be the original group reunited but i don't know if that's true or not. as far as vixen goes.............i heard their last cd and in my opinion it was terrible. bad production/mix and i don't like the singer's voice. bathroom break when they come on.

Crashdiet would be awesome at rocklahoma! They are the best band to come out in a LOOOOONG time.

i would only be happy with Vixen if it was all four original girls. i don't like who Jan has them replaced with and they arn't metal anymore.
