Little Angels
Looking for some great Glam from the 80s? Look no farther than the British band Little Angels. I don't think the band ever achieved much success in the United States - but they were fairly famous in their native U.K. I actually had no idea how many records Little Angels released. According to the Wikipedia article on the band, Little Angels have seven albums in their discography:
The 1987 EP (1987)
Too Posh To Mosh EP (1988)
Don't Prey for Me (1989)
Young Gods (1991)
Jam (1993)
A Little of the Past (1994)
Too Posh to Mosh, Too Good to Last (1995)
The band had quite a few member changes, especially in the drummer role. Just last month, Little Angels drummer Michael Lee passed away.
Between the recording, line-up changes and endless touring, the band managed to make some music videos in support of their work.
Here's my favorite Little Angels song "Kickin' Up Dust"
Here's the video for "Boneyard"
Here's the video for "I Ain't Gonna Cry"
You know, it just dawned on me: I've never once heard a Little Angels song on either Hair Nation or The Boneyard. I think this band must be added to the rotation!

I agree with aXe mAn - VERY underrated band. I think the main reason they didn't get any airplay on the stations you mention is, that the are British and European bands never had it easy on American radio stations. Their style also is meldodic hard rock, not glam, but I'm sure your stations play that kind of music too. They have plenty of more videos on YouTube, I hope you took the time to check them all out. I saw them live quite often (with Mark Richardson on the drums) on the Jam tour - awesome live band! Band member changes weren't that severe.
Maybe in the early beginning, but after their first real album "Don't prey for me" was released they had only Michael and later on Mark as drummer.
After the news that Michael died (it's so sad), I kinda rediscovered them, after not having listened to their songs for a couple of years.
If anyone wants to check out the albums, buy: Don't Prey for Me, Young Gods and Jam.
I can only suggest to everyone - check them out! Other videos you should watch:
- Do you wanna riot
- Young Guns (Live)
- Radical Your Lover
- Womankind
- Sail Away
- Soapbox
They had just started to make it in the UK. Their third proper album Jam had sold well, they had started to reduce their debt to the label - quite considerably it turned out - but the label had lost patience - I guess there days it would be one album and out, so I think we should be thankful we got three albums from them. Once they were dropped I don't think they had the desire to continue - possible they had different outlooks.
The wiki article has a brief on what they all did since.
Personally, I loved the Younger Younger 28s record - cheesey pop definitely, but fun.
