Possible Package Tour?
Get ready to see George Lynch back with Don Dokken. Apparently the two are once again reconciling for a summer tour. Who else is rumored on the bill? None other than Warrant (with Jani Lane, of course) and Cinderella.
Can you say Rocklahoma?
Let's break this down.
Of the three, I'm most excited to see Warrant. I've already seen Cinderella live, but I've never been to a Lane fronted Warrant concert.
That said, I've never seen George Lynch perform live either. For many, Lynch makes Dokken. While I'm not the biggest Dokken fan on the planet, I do like some of the songs and must admit that the band gave one hell of a performance at Rocklahoma 2007.
I saw Cinderella when they opened for Poison a couple summers back. While the band was good, Tom Keifer's voice wasn't as strong as I'd hoped. I'm guessing the entire band will be in top form for this summer's package tour.
Here's the question: if Dokken, Cinderella and Warrant are touring this summer, who is left to support Poison?
My guess is that Poison will tour, but they won't play Rocklahoma 2008. I think they will headline a shed tour with White Lion and Trixter...and maybe even Vince Neil. Poison were smart last year to take Vains of Jenna on the road. To that end, I think they will add another young band to their summer jaunt. Either Dirty Penny or Lynam would be great.
Thoughts?

Of course we know...never rarely means never when it comes to rock. It doesn't sound like George though.
I can't see him wanting to go on tour in support of songs that he didn't write or play on, on the Lightning Strikes Again record.
Jani has indeed returned to Warrant. The band is set to announce the reunion in about 1 month.
I would much rather see Cinderella tour with some other band, and have say...Lynam tour as the opening act. Especially since Tom plays...I think it was slide guitar on one of their new songs.
However, I guess if Cinderella comes close I'll have to find some way to see them, as no one else I know really likes Warrant or Dokken either, which may lead to trouble when coming to find a ride.
Good question about Poison though, especially since they toured with RATT last year so who does this leave Poison & RATT to tour with?
Maybe Slaughter or Skid Row could tour with one of them. And then a newer band as the opening act.
I'd like to see Crashdiet come over for some shows, but I don't know how they would be received on a tour with Poison. I think they would fit better with Motley Crue.
Poison better do rocklahoma. i will be pissed
And I saw Cinderella with Poison, in 2006 at blossom in Cleveland, and thought they rocked! Didn't care much for Endeverafter , but they weren't horrible, and of course Poison brought the house down! :)
