Hinder is Not Equal to Avenged Sevenfold

You already know I'm flying to Baltimore to see Kix Saturday night. Sunday morning, I fly home to Dayton for XFest 13. I bought tickets based on the fact that Buckcherry and Avenged Sevenfold were on the line-up. Illness has forced A7X off the bill...and now the promoters have replaced them with...Hinder.

Seriously.

This sends panic through my body. My husband says "Give them a chance." I have, of course, given them a chance. Anyone with access to commercial radio in the past two years has given Hinder a chance.

Maybe Eric and I can take separate cars and I can leave after Buckcherry and he can "give Hinder a chance."

I hope M. Shadows (the lead singer of Avenged Sevenfold) protects his voice. The band has canceled a lot of shows recently, so a break is probably best.

Why isn't Buckcherry the headliner anyway?

Well, you're correct. Hinder is not equal to Avenged Sevenfold.

BUT as much as people bag on Hinder, besdies Lips of an Angel (that song is just horrible), which is obviously the song people base most of their opinion on, they have some good songs.

I've also seen clips of the band on youtube, and they sound solid.

I really, really like their new song Use Me. The video is pure rock n roll. I also like Get Stoned, Homecoming Queen, and How Long. I don't know if you've heard those...but I think they're some pretty cool rock tracks.

I say give Hinder a chance...I've heard plenty of bands on the radio and never really liked them until seeing them live. You never know.

Hinder didn't sound that bad to me...I was supposed to see them next week (with Three Doors Down) but the concert got canceled. Oh well.

That is TERRIBLE. There are few bands in rock today I despise more than Hinder, and they are in no way, shape, or form a good substitue for A7X.

Oh well. Hope you manage to have fun anyways...

Honestly, I like Hinder BETTER than A7X... Dont get me wrong, Hinder does get played way too much on corporate rock radio and we have all hear "Get Stoned" and "lips of an angel at nauseum, but if you have ever seen them live they rock. They always do GREAT covers too. When I saw them a couple years back I saw them do Eddie Money and Bon Jovi and it was awesome. Ya know I love ya Allyson, but I just dont get your obsession with A7X. I still wont be attending X-fest sunday. I'd rather not go to Dayton for a show honestly. Let us all know how Buckcherry does. And yes, DO watch Hinder. Theyre not so bad.

I agree, if A7X isn't headlining, it should be Buckcherry. Hinder is ok, but I think that will be a big disappointment to the people who bought tickets to see A7X.

i dont understand why people hate hinder. They are an amazing rock band. They are so much better than mostley all other new rock bands. They have a bit of glam to them to. Have u heard there new song "use me" its fuckin amazing.A7x are good dont get me wrong but why wuld u want to see them live unless u like moshpits. Id pick hinder anyday.people need to get over there hatred towards hinder. there bringing the girls and partying back to rock and roll like it was in the 80's

I love Hinder's new song. Its cool. As much as i like Buckcherry, and i really like them, i think its better than buckcherry's new song. I used to really be into A7X. I still am. but not as much anymore. Hinder and Buckcherry are bringin' back the old school rock n roll. I love metal, but rock n roll is by far the best.

Coming from a guy who loves Glam i can say

HNDER IS AMAZING!!!

have u heard their new song Use Me talk about 1989 again!

A7X are no where near as good as Hinder

but still Buckcherry shoulda headlined no matter what!

I just watched the video for Hinder's new song "Use Me" last night. It is better than anything off of their first album. The video has a definite 80's hair metal feel to it, in my opinion.

Good Stuff.

You will probably hear this song on the radio 25,000 times in the next 3 months.
I'm holding on to my A7X tickets for tonight's show (Toronto) and hopefully won't have to wait too long - but I must say, I've seen Hinder live and going in, wasn't much of a fan (Black Stone Cherry was the band I was there to see), but thought they put on a great rock show. Try your best to look past the kinda-generic-top 40-rock-sound and just go for the live show. You won't regret it.

hey, hinder are ok. i seen them with buckcherry and papa roach last summer and they rocked harder in concert then on the radio.

don't base your thoughts off of what you hear on the radio. they have alot of great songs that you dont hear on the radio.,

give them a chance and watch them. they are close to the 80;s with the stage show and opening.
