Shinedown just released their new video for "The Sound of Madness." The song is from the album of the same name. As you can tell, the tune is epic. If you don't own The Sound of Madness, go buy a copy. It's an amazing album.

Epic? You're kidding right? I was absolutely totally un-impressed and this kind of band is EXACTLY what I was talking about in the other thread. Where was the hook in the song? If I can't remember a song 2 minutes after I've heard it then it's forgettable.
Shinedown will once again be forgotten in a few years along with the 100 other bands who sound like them.
Sorry Allyson , you rock , but these guys don't.
For God's sake - go watch Primal Fear's 'Fighting the Darkness' and hear what REAL EPIC music with talent and HOOKS is all about.

I can't get enough of this band. One of my favorite bands right now actually. The Sound of Madness is one of the best albums i've heard in quite some time. The vocals, harmonies, guitars, the whole package. US & THEM is a great record too. I LOVE THIS BAND!!!!

Yeah Shinedown is cool, but I think their frontman is holding that band a little bit, he is the only one exposed and music suffers, Shinedown would be much better with some guitar solos thrown here or there, guitars lines are great but some great solos would elevate them into another level.

I love Shinedown! Awesome songs, awesome live, and they're really nice too! Sound of Madness is one of their best songs, I think, and I'm glad they made this a single, because it's better than Devour!

I hate to say I told you so but....I TOLD YOU SO!!! I have been into Shinedown since the first CD. I do not think they will be gone anytime soon!!!

i just read this now, and its been three years and they're as big as ever. haha
