A Random Note About Bigelf

Do you like Bigelf? Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater sure does. In fact, he told Noisecreep that Bigelf's Cheat the Gallows... "is hands down my pick for the best album of the past year. They're like all my favorite bands in one."

Bigelf will tour with Dream Theater as part of the Progressive Nation tour this fall.

You know, my friends and I undercover some random crap over at Noisecreep. Just sayin.'

They're really good. I can't wait to see them at Progressive Nation Europe in October together with one of my favorite bands of all time DREAM THEATER. Unfortunately for you Americans they are not on the bill for Progressive Nation USA.

Mike is a cool guy and he listens to a lot of different music. Not everything is my taste but I agree with him on BIGELF.

Allyson, I like that you feature some progressive music lately.

If you guys listen to some prog here and there I highly recommend AYREON, one of the best in the genre.

AYREON is basically Arjen Lucassen, original member of Vengeance, Dutch's most famous 80's Hard Rock band and certainly one of the best live acts I've ever seen in my entire life. Arjen created AYREON as a progressive rock opera project with an insane amount of famous and not so famous guest musicians and singers.
