Fear of the Dark

One of Eric's friends just got married to so were tied up most of the day and night. I just walked in, sat down and turned on Vh1 Classic...only to find Iron Maiden: Rock in Rio on my screen.

Major score. Nothing better after an exhausting day than a little live Maiden. I know Maiden is off the charts expensive to book but I am hoping against hope that they will be at Download next year. I must experience them live!

A great song is "Fear of the Dark." The crowd on this clip is so loud it's like nothing I've ever heard before. I mean, this is a massive show - and the audience voices are pretty clear. Amazing.

seen them live 3 times now - allways good.but i must state - i did prefer them in the older days - not keen on anything after live after death,

Yeah, I prefer pretty much any band that wears eyeliner and lipstick, or excessive amounts of hairspray myself, but I got to see them live on the Somewhere Back In Time Tour in 2008. HOLY SHIT! Their live show energy unbelievable.

Vince - who have you seen who was better ? Where were you ? I was at the barrier. I've been towards the back of a Maiden show, and it's still good, but with any show, you only find out how good it is, if you're at the front.

I've been at the front of many show's, ofcourse maiden is a good band, but their lyrics are poor and I just don't buy it. Oasis at wembley much better, they don't have to move to be good, Kiss, blur however their are one band that you can't touch live, The Libertines intense, their music is so intense and they are on the edge of survival with their drugfilled shows and songs.

Fear of the Dark live is one of the most amazing songs in Metal history. The crowd is always incredible and brings the emotion of the song to the forefront, not something you see a lot at Metal concerts.

man oasis n maiden do not fall in the same genre.if liked oasis betr dan maiden den u must hv been in the wrong show and to understand maiden's lyrics u gotta hv sm understandin abt thier fundamental lyrical style which ofcourse you hv none.so stop ur useless comment abt the god n go listen to sm indie or rock-n-roll stuff
