Let's Share Our Own Music!

I write about famous musicians all the time, but what about the rest of us? We all have talent, right? My good friend and regular BBG! commentator Christian is big into playing his guitar. Recently, he got really involved with a band at his church down under and he started writing some songs. So, he tapes one of the jam sessions and puts it on YouTube. Anyway, Christian was nice enough to share the songs with me. They are "religious Metal" - totally not my thing - but I give Christian and his band props because they put themselves out there, staying true to their beliefs. That's Metal.

Thanks for the positive comments, I appreciate it. We're just a little church band, we don't expect or even particularly want to get signed or sell many albums ( although we are doing a CD, which we'll be selling to support our church missions in Africa and PNG ), but, as you can probably tell, I really enjoy writing and playing songs. I'm looking forward to hearing what my fellow BBGers are playing.

I know I'm a little late to the party but this is a cool idea. I hope to see more contributions soon.
Christian, nice work. Has a Nugeness feel to it. There have been awesome Christian Metal bands that are just as good or better than lots of mainstream bands.
Allyson, you may not be a huge fan of that genre but you should take a listen to Bride, X Sinner, Die Happy (Greg Chaisson from Badlands), Guardian, Rage of Angels, Holy Soldier, Fear Not, Sacred Warrior, Dreamer, Neon Cross, and Whitecross to name a few.
