'Home Again'

Queensryche just released their video for "Home Again," a track from their newest release American Soldier. It's fitting that the clip debuted on Military.com and features themes common to our fine enlisted men and women.

On "Home Again," Queensryche vocalist Geoff Tate enlisted the help of his young daughter Emily. She's featured in the video for the song as well.

"My daughter Emily on Wednesdays attends class in the same building as my studio. I'd just finished writing the song 'Home Again,'" Tate tells Bring Back Glam! "Emily says to me 'What are you working on?' and I replied 'I just finished another song. Want to hear it?' I'm playing the song for her and she's reading the lyrics. I look up, she's got tears running down her cheeks. She thought I'd written the song about her. I asked if she'd like to sing on it, she said "yes" and threw the headphones on. I had to quickly scramble to get the microphone set-up for her and she threw down. We recorded it and it just had a magic to it... just an innocence that really struck me as being honest. I played it for my wife and the band they all went crazy over it."

You can download American Solider on iTunes. Queensryche will headline Shiprocked this November.

Well this is just embarrassing, how can people think this is good? Seriously, this is rubbish, and you think that Oasis is bad and boring? You Americans have no taste in music, thank good for europe and uk.

The video is a great tribute, but the album is subpar in my opinion. Its getting great press from the Military standpoint, it just worries me that people are liking it for the wrong reasons.

Well Liam just want to say that your an ass. First off as an american I dont think Oasis are boring at all. Queensryche are not my thing at all but I can at least appreciate the fact that they have taken the time to acknowledge our troops. There is great music that comes from the US and great stuff from the UK and Europe. And as someone who has served in the USMC I know that everyone is free and entitled to their own opinion but some times I jush wish close minded ignorant people like you would keep their opinions to themselves.

@JB: For me it's one of the best albums of the year. And I love it for the great music, nothing else. It takes quite a while until it unfolds it's beauty and I fear that most people don't have enough patience to give it enough spins.

@Liam: Try to accept that people have different tastes. I'm from Europe and I don't care about Oasis at all. Queensryche on the other hand, are one of my favorite bands.

Yeah, it was a little bit to much for my side, but this song is not good, seriously, what's good in it?
