They seem to be doing it right (unlike another US festival)....I can't wait to hear the rest of the lineup.

If we get Queensryche there I'm sure I could convince Husband creature to go... :)

Whoa! I'm not gonna sleep until June 19th now that Winger has been announced!

Not.

Thank GAWD Kix and Neil are formally committed.

Must say, can't really get all that excited about a Laneless Warrant or a Traciiless L.A. Guns. These are B-Playerz without those characterz up on stage.

As far as Queensryche is concerned, puleez let's not get into that again, Chessie! Cripes, that last thing Al posted on 'em wound up with like 33 comments or something. Sorry, Xandra, don't kill me!, tee hee!

C'mon, Al... Dontchya got any inside scoops like a...

Scoop on Scorps?

I have to disagree with Metalboy!, Warrant gave Lane a second chance and he blew it, hiring Robert Mason was the best career move they have made since Jani origionally quit. And as far as Tracii Guns, he quit L.A. Guns for "greener pastures" (Brides Of Dustruction), when that didn't pan out he auditioned for Quiet Riot and Limp Biscut, was in Poison for a week and tried to get in contact/play with Axl Rose. If anyone is the "B" player, I would say it's Traci "scab" Guns. I for one am looking forward to seeing Warrant and (the real)L.A.Guns. I'm also hoping that Cinderella might be playing.

Rob! You and I generally have a spirited conversation and I can see your point about Jani Lane. To a point.

No matter what he's done to screw it up, you still can't take away from the fact that it's basically Lane's band forever.

He wrote it all and he sang it all originally, so he kinda "owns" it.

Still, since he blew it, maybe he doesn't deserve another chance but hell, it's Rock and Roll. If he wants back in, they should give him another shot, unless he's just grown too unruly cuz of the drinking.

But if he's sober, what the hey? Let him sing. If he blows it again, plug in your Mason dude. This ain't rocket science. They both know the material to be able to act on a dime, anyway!

As far as Tracii, if he wants back in, they should let him back. He's the guitar sound and real hero of Guns, no if's, and's or butts! Phil's never really been that killer (Seen 'em 5 times) tho I grant you he is the voice of Gunz.

But I gotta tell ya, for some reazon, at least for me, it just don't fly without Tracii. I'll skip 'em when they hit the stage (and that would be the 2nd stage, no doubt).

On the other hand... Cinderella? Kix? Vince Neil? Unreal! I'm there!

And what if we get the Scorps?! L.A. Phils will be a distant thunder in this Metal perfect storm!
