Allyson's Favorite Top 5 Video Countdown - Number 4

Today, let's continue my top 5 video countdown. Yesterday, I told you my fifth fave video is Michael Jackson's "You Rock My World." today, my pick that lands in the number four spot is Poison's "Unskinny Bop."

You might recall Poison was my band back in the 80s/90s. I pretty much loved any Poison video back in the day, but nothing could hold a candle to "Unskinny Bop."

I loved the MJ pick at #5 but you totally lost me on this one. This video sucks. I would argue that this is Poison's WORST video! UGH!

First up: wow, the image and sound quality on this clip is awful! :-/

Second: I agree, Ally. :) I loved the 'Unskinny Bop' video when it first came out. It made me laugh then, and it still does. The production qualities alone make it the best of the 'Flesh & Blood' videos (although 'Something to Believe In' was also a great video). I watched this video until I wore out the tape. :)

I still think that 'Every Rose...' was the BEST of the Poison videos, but 'Unskinny' is definitely sexier... Plus I used to have two huge posters of Bret across from my bed, which were both stills from this video. Phwoar!!! He makes eye-contact with the camera in this video and I still go all giggly and blushy. :D

Unskinny Bop is one of my least favorite Poison songs, so the video for me is hard to take. The vids for Fallen Angel & Every Rose are my favorites.

Fallen Angel is hard to beat..loved Bret's "Hollywood Taxi" in that video. I always thought this was about as stupid a song as I had heard to that point. Those laser generated girls just made me want to go see the local Pink Floyd laser show at the planetarium.
