Festival Roundup Continues: Dakota Rock Fest Announces Bands

The Dakota Rock Fest is set for July 22, 23, and 24 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The fest will take place at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds. So far, promoters have confirmed Vince Neil, Warrant, Molly Hatchet, Axe, Ted Poley, Bombay Black, Talon, Paisty Jenny, Jukebox Zeroes, Tango Down, Lita Ford and Far Cry with more acts to be announced. Maybe the best thing about this fest is that it is cheap - just $175 for the VIP, or $55 for a basic all-fest pass. One day tickets are available.
South Dakota is pretty far away from just about everything - but if you're in the region, this seems like a fun event! Check out the festival's official website.

Okay, ya got me on a technicality, sheeez! Let me re-phrase that, ya frickin' nick-pickin' son-of-a-pr*ck...
Maybe Molly can back up Lita.
I saw Molly Hatchet back in the day in Baltimore and had their first album until "Never Mind The Bullocks, Here's The Sex Pistols" came out.
That made me have an epiphany about what "real" Rock'n'Roll is. And that, in turn, made me realize that Hatchet was nothing but a poseur Hatchet job knock-off of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Once I realized this, I promptly threw that Hatchet record up and down my cul-de-sac for a good half an hour.
I did pick up "Flirtin'" when it came out in '79 cuz I kinda liked it and the title cut wound up on a mix tape I did of Southern Rock I made a coupla years ago.
Regardless, you are right, Shadow, xcept that Kermit would be a better singer than the one they've got in there now.
Yee haw! Y'all are gonna have a real honest to goodness Ho Down out there in Dakoty, ya buncha white trash rednecks!
