Roll Call: Jägermeister Fall Music Tour
Okay, who is planning on attending the Jägermeister Fall Music Tour featuring Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax? The tour will hit 20 cities in America and it seems pretty cool. 1. Testament was awesome. Very tight band and they were just great.
2. Megadeth was a letdown. Dave put minimal effort in to the show and wasn't even trying to sing. The band was great, but Dave let me down big time.
3. Slayer was awesome. Opened with two songs from World Painted Blood, then did the entire "Seasons" album, and then for the encore, "Reign in Blood" and "Angel of Death". They were tight and just plain awesome. Kerry King has awesome stage presence.
I have seen Megadeth many times and this setlist is my least favorite as Rust In Peace is not one of my favorite albums by them.
I am a HUGE Anthrax fan and never got to see them until Rocklahoma with one of the few shows with Dan Nelson. I loved that show, and I really look forward to seeing them with Joey, since that is the lineup I grew up with.
Never a big Slayer fan, but looking forward to finding out what the big fuss is.
Not sure what to expect, since I'm in more of a Tesla / Ratt / Cinderella / Scorpions vein this summer (saw all 4 bands, and all 4 were amazing). But Slayer is as heavy as it gets, so it should be fun. Plus, we're all 20 years older, so I hopefully won't have to worry about getting killed at the edge of a giant mosh pit this time!
Good to see you aren't a Glam Metal snob, Metalboy. LOL
