Real Rock: Michael Monroe and Sebastian Bach

Sebastian Bach and Michael Monroe together on the same stage! Monroe was playing at the Whisky A Go Go recently and Bach jumped on stage to join him on the song "Taxi Driver." THIS is real rock n' roll! I wish I could go back in time and attend this show!

Rock n Roll is not dead!

Thats the reason I prefer to see club shows other than the "big bands" at arenas now. The arena shows are full of "gawkers" who like 3 songs n clap and need to sit every 10 minutes cuz they afre overweight and bloated from all the doritos (I love 'em) they ate.

Give me LA GUNS (Phil) or Kix in front of 500 people any night over Priest (my favs of all time) or Bon Jovi anytime.

These small bands seems hungry cuz they are! They are like us making a living at something they love, and they work hard at bringin us back to those great times through music!!!!!!!!!

Cool jam!! And Kixchix, really good post! ;>) The arena shows are pretty much "cookie cutter shows",as in the exact same show every night on the entire tour.Ya never know what you'll get in a club or theater kind of setting.Just seems to me that bands are looser in that setting...

The whole Monroe tour was a Non-miss event...I am so happy I made the roadtrip to Cleveland,..at the last minute,...I havnt stopped thinking about the show for 2 weeks it was that good,...and Monroe hadnt did a proper US tour in 20yrs at least..If he comes back in 2012 I recommend going to see the show!

Whoa! REAL is right! Shite, I wish I lived in L.A.! Or I wish I coulda seen him in Baltimore, especially since I now know, thanks to Toddwiggy, that Monroe really hasn't toured the U.S. in the last 20 years.

p.s. I could really kick myself that I missed Hanoi Rocks back in the day and Vince Neil sure as h*ll didn't help there.

That's awesome! Wish I would've caught the show; love M. Monroe. Saw him years (and years) ago when he put out his first solo album. Bach looks huge next to him though!
