The Picture of Steven Tyler After His Fall Is Terrifying

Steven Tyler was recently on NBC's Today, talking about the bad fall he took a couple days ago. The freeze frame (below) shows just how banged up Tyler really is... in fact, he looks so bad, my stomach turned a little the first time I saw the photo. During the interview, Steven swears by his sobriety and says he fell because he passed out from food poisoning. Whatever the case, I just hope he heals all the way.

Tyler never fails to come up with a quip and I also believe what he says in this fascinating phone interview.

At first, I thought he also got his haircut but as you see in footage accompanying the interview, that is not the case.

No doubt, he is THE Greatest American Rock'n'Roll Singer Alive!

p.s. Let's hope Aerosmith's new record is a return to their Metallic roots ("Round And Round" anyone?) that were fully displayed on 'Toys In The Attic', 'Rocks' and some of 'Draw The Line'. Really for me, their last true glimmer of Metal, IMHO, came in the form of their remake of Perry's "Let The Music Do The Talking" off their much overlooked comeback album, 1985's 'Done With Mirrors'.

Hope this guy is legit. He's got so much at stake with the band out touring and his deal with American Idol. Seems like he's had too many close calls. Too many Cat Lives burned. He better cool it.

He oughtta take a cue from one of his proteges, Nikki Sixx, who just seems like he's gotta be sober, he's so uncool these days, hahaha!!!
