Another Rare Motley Crue Live Performance Video - 'Paperback Writer'
Here's another rare Motley Crue clip. The band, pre- Too Fast For Love playing their second gig ever at the Starwood in Los Angeles. The song? "Paperback Writer" by the Beatles. The quality of this clip is amazing.
It's pretty clear by watching the clip that Motley is a very new band here. The guys aren't quite as comfortable together on stage as they could be...and yet...there's chemistry.
Look at how young the guys are - and they are so thin! Like toothpicks! The video is a hoot and a half. Enjoy your Saturday, Glam lovers!

Fantastic!
Good points, Al and Kenny O!
And check out Nikki's shorts!
This predated, by several years, many a Glam Metal fashion follower I can think of right off the top of my head, such as Axl or Life Sex & Death (LSD -- Check 'em out!) guitarist, Alex Kane, etc. donned shorts, Alex favoring black vinyl and Axl, white bicycling shorts (Ugh! So UNROCK, Axl!).
Of course, Angus set the trend. Then there's that unibrow dude from Anthax (equally UNROCK!), Scott Noteven's crusty Guess jeans cut offs. Barf-O-Matic!
Nikki just looks like he's out to play a softball game, except for the beautiful hair. They all have killer hair and looks, judging by this, an excellent find, indeed, Allyson!
Also, it's awesome when bands do a cover song for their last song or encore (a la Zeppelin, etc.), often customary and obviously the case here, as we see and hear Vince saying "Goodnight", etc., as they walk off stage.
This is just so KILLER musically, too! They just totally ROCK it out! Mick is so crankin' the riff and Nikki's got all the moves!
TOTALLY redefining the L.A. Strip Scene! Nobody was nailin' it like that back then!
UNFRICKIN" BELIEVABLE!
