Candlebox, Filter Added to Shiprocked 2011

The headline says it all: Candlebox and Filter were just added to Shiprocked 2011. They join Buckcherry, Queensryche, Hinder, Hellyeah, Sevendust, Living Colour, In This Moment, Lynam, Broken Teeth and Rival Sons on the lineup. Shiprocked sails November 14-19 out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The cruise goes to ports in Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico.
Cabins are still available, if you'd like to book. Be warned: it's a non-stop party, and you will not sleep for a week.
The song below was one of my favorites in high school. Candlebox, "Far Behind"

Where's Kix?!
If they would just add one other good band. Let's face it, right now, all they've really got are Buckcherry and Broken Teeth.
Look, I understand why many Shiprockerz may be willing to settle for less and pretend the other bands, with the possible exception of Queensryche, are Real Rock'n'Roll, but, c'mon, seriously?
If you genuinely think this is a good line-up, you are kidding yourselves and really have no idea what Rock'n'Roll is.
Big step backward for what could have been a fantastic cruise! When you do something successful like last year's cruise that REALLY ROCKED the boat, you want always want to set out to top it.
The people that run this thing seem clueless. They seriously do not have a pulse on what could really be popular to put on this cruise, expecially when you consider the resurgence in popularity of 80's Glam/Hair Metal among the kids.
Plus, I seriously think the organizers are just going with their own personal taste and limited budget (to increase their profit margin) when they are selecting acts for the cruise with no regard for what fans want.
Why didn't they get Kix and/or some of the other cool bands that are active these days?
To be honest, I was set to go on this cruise. Last year was fantastic and I was really excited because of this year's extended intinerary... until the line-up was revealed. Awful! And getting worse with every addition!
Tell, you what... Just add Kix, or somebody like that and I'll go. Otherwise, Bon Voyage!
Thing is, I'm not even sayin' they need to really change the direction. I'm sayin' why not, at the very least, strike a balance>
The Shipsuxx Organizerz who obviously lack a fundamental grasp of what REAL Rock'n'Roll is, with the exception of what limited space on their roster they have devoted to it with Buckcherry, Broken Teeth and, perhaps, Queensryche (tho they've already been on Shipsnot! before).
If they would at least add Kix. I heard Kix was voted #1 requested act for Shiprocked! among passengers and would-be passengers.
Maybe the promoters are waiting to see if they need to add a heavy hitter like Kix in order to sell more cabins or if they sell enough cabins, they can skip the need for that and just stick with the subpar and more inexpensive Modern Rock bands (Ugh! I mean, boring and generic "Modern Rock" Bands).
Give me Kix or make it SKIProcked! for me!
....and SKIProcked.....absolutely hysterical, MB!
There is one last hope for us.
Maybe the organizers of Shiprocked! will be at M3 again and realize they still need Kix after they sees them blow the roof off Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Shiprocked! organizers could also pick up a couple more of the acts playin' there, too.
It amazes me that the organizers would just suddenly walk away from the biggest form of Rock'n'Roll there is, especially now that there is a sudden resurgence in Glam Metal's popularity.
