Vivian Campbell, 'Seems So Real'

Have you heard Vivian Campbell's new song "Seems So Real?" The song sounds nothing like Def Leppard - it's definitely alternative rock. Check it out and let me know what you think. Props to Viv for putting out new music.

Love this song. It's much better than the 3 new tracks Leppard have on Mirrorball. Hope Viv is working on a solo album, if this is anything to go on....

Love it. Is it him singing? Who else is on it? Hopefully there is more in the pipeline. Looking forward to the new Riverdogs. I hope they do a bunch of acoustic stuff like on the On Air promo. So awesome.

Sounds good to me. It has a groovy Stone Temple Pilots flavor to it.

The upcoming Riverdogs album isnt 100% new. Most of the songs on there, came from the 1993 recording sessions and are reworked and remastered but there are a few new songs, or so this is what Ive heard from the Head of the label who is putting their cd out.

Now back to this, I dont think its better than the three new Def Leppard tunes, I happen to like all 3, varying styles, but catchy. Viv and the guy he wrote this song with, are hoping to release an albums worth sometime later this year I believe. He said he would be putting more songs up for people to download in the future. Just keep an eye on his Facebook page.

Mike:

I like the new Def Leppard songs as well. My favorite is It's All About Believin'.

Like it or not, but this son of a bitch was way better than Blackmore and Iommi back in 1983 – 1986 when he saved Dio’s ass after Ronnie was kicked out of Sabbath in 1982.

I am a fan of Def Lepp but this is way way way better than anything they have put out in the last few years.

Can't wait for the album, Viv!
