AC/DC Ready to Tour Again?
Color me surprised. The guys in AC/DC are apparently talking about another world tour. Remember how long we waited for the Black Ice tour to finally happen? Well, now Angus Young says the band wants to tour again.
"We have such diehard fans, old and new. We've survived many changing fashions of music – we've outlived the lot of them,” Angus told UK paper The Sun.
AC/DC is currently celebrating the release of their concert DVD Live At River Plate.
With so many sold-out shows from the Black Ice world tour...can AC/DC do it again? Will fans – will you – be willing to pay insane prices for tickets again? I've got to be honest, if AC/DC suddenly announced a show in Ohio in the next six months or so, I'd have to think about plopping down the money again. For the Black Ice tour, it was a no-brainer for me...but now that I've seen them, I'm not sure I have the burning desire to see them immediately again. There are some bands I can – and want – to see over and over again, but for whatever reason, AC/DC isn't one of them. Maybe it is because I feel like I got 100% of the AC/DC experience during the Black Ice tour and those memories are good enough for me.
What do you think?

BUT, they would have to mix up the setlist a little.
I think they ditched one song and added another, otherwise it was the same damn setlist night after night on the Black Ice tour and that's boring as hell considering how many great songs they have.

That makes it 16 years for me, Bri!
Kari -- FYI, "Let There Be Rock" is my fave AC/DC album and "Problem Child", from that album, is my fave AC/DC song.
I will be up front and center when they come to town!
For Those About To Rock, We Salute You!
Is Problem Child on the US version of Let There Be Rock? That song can be found on Dirty Deeds here in Europe.
It's interesting to note the different tracks, their running order and different album cover artwork when comparing U.S. versions vs. European and Australian versions.
I believe there is a CD Box set available containing all the versions of all of the albums. Otherwise, it's worth hunting down all of the versions because you will cull together quite a few cuts that aren't available on the U.S. versions.
It's only because I've got quite a few years on ya, Snoot, that I had more opportunities to see 'em.
Saw them the following year on the "For Those About To Rock Tour"
I would recomend to anybody that has an opportunity to see these guys to go for it. You won't be dissapointed, as they kick major ass live
I thought it was Cap Centre when I saw them back in '80, but I want to be sure.
Thanx!
