Ted Poley, 'Breathe' -- New Video

Wait, Ted Poley made a video for a cover of a Michelle Branch song? A few years ago, Michelle had a big hit with “Breathe.” Now Ted Poley has his own version of the tune... and a real music video to boot! Turns out the video is actually pretty darn cute. It's clear this was made all in good fun and I can't dispute Ted's voice. Even on a weak pop song, Ted sounds good. Also, there's a cool side note: Michelle wrote “Breathe” with John Shanks. That's the same guy rumored to be working on the new Van Halen record. At any rate, watch the new clip for “Breathe...” and check out the full credits at the end, too.

Pretty good! It's nice to see that Poley is still putting out new music.

Monkey Business was one of my favorite albums from the hair metal scene, and I always thought they had the potential to make it really big if not for some bad luck and/or decisions. I remember there being a lot of buzz about Monkey Business when it first came out, but the first video they put out (for the song, Monkey Business) was deemed to risque for the video stations, so it wasn't played unless it was late at night. That killed a lot of their momentum.

Not bad. Ted is always fun. Good lord though, whats up with the ugly orange girls in the video? Im sure he coulda found some prettier girls to be in his video. SHEESH.

I thought this was alright. His solo stuff has always been very AOR/pop. I really liked his Bone Machine project. never that big of a fan of Danger Danger but really want to hear the Cockroach CD that had both singers doing the whole album each. My two remembrances of D2 are odd. One, is I had a video of them doing a Japanese TV show and Andy Timmons did a KILLER acoustic version of "Honest Guy". The second is there was thos lady that did the talk show rounds in the early 90's. It was about wild moms or something and apparently she liked to party. She had a Danger Danger tattoo on her thigh. I always wondered what happened to her.
