Is Queensryche the M3 Headliner?

M3 is May 11 and 12 in Columbia, Maryland. Queensryche is listed as playing on May 12. Does this mean that 'Ryche is the headliner? Perhaps. It's possible they are in the slot right before the headliner, but that's about it. I've seen Queensryche headline lots of festivals, including Rocklahoma and ShipRocked. For that reason, I was hoping for another band, namely Europe.

I already knew the early slots will (likely) be filled with bands I've seen several times, and that is fine. I was just hoping for someone different in the headline slot. As for May 11, I'm assuming Kix gets that headline slot, although you never know I guess.

So, we'll add Queensryche to the bands we already know are playing the festival including Warrant and Quiet Riot.

Here's a cool retro Queensryche clip I found last night. Enjoy.

I agree with Christian regarding Europe.

Also, Europe would be a welcome and fresh alternative to add into the mix of possible headliners as opposed to Queensryche, who've rapidly become nothing more than another of the many usual suspects you can always get for these kinds of festivals.

Still, I could always fool around the booths set up just outside the shed and then run back in when they play "Queen Of The Reich". That song ROCKS!

p.s. Very funny, Scott!

i would love to see europe on a headline slot ive never seen them live besides dvd or youtube clips but they look n sound great and so many great songs to chose from. sounds like another band everybody loves to hate but for some reason managed to sell millions of albums lol.

Some of you guys are smoking crack if you think Europe is headline material. Dont get me wrong, I like Europe, and I would love to see them play the show. But calling them a headliner is absolutely atrocious.

i wish M3 would get on it and just announce what they are doing. THe ryche news DOES NOT excite me in the least bit. OF course, I'm not denying they are a great band but for a FESTIVAL....snore! My first thought was BUZZ KILL Totally!!! Bring on some different blood, bring on some excitement!

Queensryche better not be the headliner or the Festival will fail attendance wise and loose all momentum they have created over the past 3 years. You have to bring in a Poison or Def Leppard type band. Sorry but Queensryche is just not going to do it as headliner and we all have seen them at Rocklahoma headline...and it was not good. If they are a second or third band out then that is cool.

Oh and Europe would be awesome by the way. But my dream is for Damn Yankees to reunite...but i know that is a pipe-dream!
