Much better than last years line-up.
Cinderella & Ratt have that star quality so needed for headliners.
However, it doesn't match the wallop of Scorpions as THE Headliner two years ago.
Def Leppard, Van Halen or Crue or somebody would have brought it to that level.
However, as I said, Ratt & Cinderella do it for me. I could listen to 'em all day long. And Dokken, Stryper, Loudness, Lynch Mob and XYZ are the icing on the cake!
p.s. Just wish George could come on stage for a couple with Dokken. That would be HUGE!
I am pretty happy with this lineup, too. However, I am a little dissapointed that Def Lep or someone bigger is not headlining. I'm guessing the cost is too much for higher level artists. It would have been cool to have Slash or Accept or Steel Panter
Kix packed the place last year on the Friday. I hope Night Ranger plays before them. Night Ranger and Ryche were a great adds! I'm sure Ryche will do something special...(Empire in full?)
I'm going back this year. It's a good time.
LOVE ME SOME RATT & CINDERELLA ON ANY DAY...but given the fact that I have to travel for this festival, I can see both these bands later in the year in my area.
I guess I was hoping to see bands that I have yet to see and this would be the only event that could make it happen.
I wish em luck on Ticket Sales, it won't outsell the previous 3 years. NO WAY!
And... YES. There will be a M-Pre Party that I will be putting on this year. It will be on Thursday May 10th 2012. At this point all I can say is that it will at least be as good as last year.

I think it is funny that Dokken and Lynch Mob are both playing. However if it was the original Dokken they would more than likely be the headliner.
Still wish they would have a couple new bands.

How these guyz never made it, as with so many band's from way back when I am discovering on the net for the first time, is
totally baffling to me, save for the usual theories like Eddie Vedder's role as the Grim Reaper, etc.
And I agree with Kenny O and others in wanting other bands like Vain and the Swedes in the mix (For example, Universal should have footed the bill for Reckless Love to play this gig as they would blow the crowd of D.C. Baltimore Rockers away).
And those on here who have suggested local faves, Child's Play, heck yeah, they would sell tickets. Once again, I think the promoters really could be a little more with it. Time and time again, with the exception of KIX, who I think have really helped this fest's ticket sales, they have dissed local heroes. Charm City Devils (a Child's Play spinoff, actually) anyone?!
Hey, Rock-It, how 'bout gettin' Child's Play OR Charm City Devils for your Pre-Party? Whoever you get, I know they'll be great if they rival Wildstreet. I will be there!
One more thought -- correct me if I'm wrong, but the last time Ratt played here was Pre-"Infestation". If that is indeed the case, I look forward to seeing them perform tunes from that album and not the usual "classics". Other legacy acts, take note, kudos
to Ratt for continuing to make new music (in fact, they've got another new album coming out soon!). C'mon, Cinderella!
p.s. And PULEEZ let Stryper play the main stage, s I suspect they will -- AND Loudness, too, as they will blow the roof off the Pavilion! And if they do put Queensryche in as lead headliner, that's fine -- I can get a jump on the traffic to get the h*ll out of there faster and to the bar sooner! See you kiddies there!
